The part of overall theme “Fragile” works with objects by their nature on the boundary between a sculpture and a musical instrument. References in Keith's number and the Fibonacci sequence were used in object dimensions.
The series emphasizes two working approaches that primarily affect the outcome. The first approach is devoted to the dematerialization of the supporting elements like a load-bearing walls, so that the overall visual impression of the object is following the transparency of the glass which at certain moments may seem illusory, a kind of supernatural spirit. The second approach deals with the absence of classical connecting and building elements which are replaced by material inserted into another context, thus to a non-traditional position in usage of the material itself in the object. In this case, it is the usage of steel strings as a structural element that holds the object together. Float glass represents an element of the building stone thus it is stacked in various compositions and the essence and reason for combining these materials appears in combination with steel strings which are attached to the edge of the glass at certain points of the object. The leaned strings convert the vibrations into float glass which acts as a soundboard so that the object reaches the imaginary boundary of the sculpture and the musical instrument.
