Safety instead of calm

Adam and Jan work together on the border between childhood Adam and Jan work together on the border between childhood memories and the present. They find parallels that they visualize and reflect on. They transform their childhood worlds into the present. They create memories that they find and recycle both together and individually. Jan and Adam are students of the Sculpture 2 studio at the FaVU VUT in Brno. Jan Bražina finds inspiration in the nonsensical videos get ready with me, which he watched during the pandemic. Here we encounter isolation and the experience in this segment can equal despair. An important factor is Jan's hometown, where he himself resided at the time. This experience is reflected in his current work. Adam Hejduk relates to childhood visual memories from POG. He finds two levels: the aesthetic treatment of the play and the reflection of childhood memories concerning war and world problems. With the enormous scale of POGs, he balances the complex that he was unable to reflect as a child.
