Transparency

The first work in Adam Hejduk's portfolio which refers to Hitchcock's film Rear Window. The multichannel video consists of a series of fictional stories recorded in the night streets during the covid period from the view of an observer. Stories are created from a large amount of collected audio and video materials. The recordings are interconnected through post-production, which creates an imaginative narrative full of collisions. Everyday reality becomes a spectacle. Through manipulating the recorded materials and exaggeration of banal situations we could read a testimony of times full of paranoia, when the others were seen as potential sources of danger.
